Effecting change is not about pushing: it’s about magnetism and momentum. To understand how organisations change, we need to understand what anchors them in the present. It’s through people and processes that are invested in the status quo.
These are not bad people: they are people like us, striving to be excellent or to survive in a web of demands and reward mechanisms that largely keep them where they are.
